This course is for employees who process personal data or carry responsibility for protecting it. As data protection grows steadily more important, companies must understand the applicable legal requirements, in particular those of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and apply them consistently. Infringements can have serious legal and financial consequences. The supervisory authorities have the power to impose substantial administrative fines and to order further measures.
