Safety data sheets under REACH and CLP

REACH Art. 31CLP

Who it applies to

Anyone placing substances or mixtures on the market who has to supply a safety data sheet.

Our role

Compiling, classifying and maintaining your data sheets, in up to 42 language versions.

What you get

Data sheets that meet the rules in force, kept current and ready to hand to your customers.

Safety data sheets are among the most important instruments in the supply chain. Drawn up under Article 31 and Annex II of the REACH Regulation, they tell the user about the hazards of a substance or mixture and about the measures that protect people and the environment. What many do not know is that liability for the classification lies with whoever places the substance or mixture on the market, not with the previous supplier. Make sure your safety data sheets comply with the law and that you do not have to answer for the mistakes of third parties. We help you meet the legal requirements in every target market.

This includes:

  • compiling your safety data sheets for every jurisdiction
  • on request, all your safety data sheets in 42 language versions
  • classifying your substances and mixtures under the CLP Regulation and your dangerous goods for transport
  • maintaining your safety data sheets and checking them against the legislation in force

We also host your data sheets in a database that complies with the General Data Protection Regulation. When the law changes we update your data sheets within 48 to 72 hours. That way you always have the current data on your substances and articles and can pass it to your customers straight away, without revealing anything about your supplier structure.
