- Who is this course for?
Securing loads matters to everyone with responsibility in the transport industry. Goods that are not properly secured on a vehicle can shift and be damaged. If the centre of gravity of the vehicle changes suddenly, that can cause serious road accidents and endanger the safety of the driver and the vehicle.
- What does the course cover?
The VDI 2700 series of guidelines, "Securing of loads on road vehicles", has been the recognised reference work on load securing for many years. Under section 22 of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), load securing must follow "the generally accepted rules of technology". The VDI 2700 series is therefore the basis on which the authorities carry out their checks. So that your staff know and apply the load securing requirements and avoid fines, we train you in line with the VDI 2700 guidelines.
